Big Foot Filters are designed to be used as an initial filter on the suction side of a pump using surface water sources. The 40G, rated at 40 gallons per minute, is made of heavy duty PVC plastic. Extra large intake areas will require little or no service during the pumping season and will give many years of trouble free service, even under the most severe conditions.
